Synopsis
Santicor Talent Agency and Raylene Bennet share one thing in common-- they aren’t what they seem. Santicor Talent is a private spy agency specializing in mostly illegal covert actions. Dancer Raylene is really a spy. Her dancing literally hypnotizes her subjects. While under her power, she can read her subject’s thoughts and mentally record them. She can also mentally interrogate subjects by using telepathy. She has many extraordinary abilities. She is unaware of nearly all of them. As a child she was given to Damien Santicor for training and never saw her parents again.
During a briefing before a dance performance at The Ceremony Of The Roses, Raylene learns that a terrorist group called The Guardians are out to sabotage the President’s Iranian oil bill and assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader. These actions are designed to start a war in Iran. Iran’s President will be at the event. Raylene’s mission is to brain scan him to learn his loyalty and true intentions. She also learns that a friend, a Chinese General, has recently joined The Guardians.
After the event, Raylene is assigned to a detail pursuing The Guardians who have been found in New York City. Raylene and Lee are in a restaurant when the Guardians attempt to take them prisoner. She erupts into a dazzling martial arts display but is felled by two shots from a Taser. She is drugged and questioned by a German Doctor and a Guardian agent. Raylene doesn’t believe them when they speak of her martial arts expertise and that it took two Tasers blasts to subdue her. She is more than surprised when The Guardians release her.
Soon after, she engages in another martial arts battle with The Guardians. During the fight she falls from a first story balcony and is knocked unconscious. Afterwards, she remembers everything; it is the first time she has ever remembered doing martial arts. The German Doctor informs her that she has been brainwashed and works as an assassin for Santicor. At first she refuses to believe but soon realizes it is the truth. Her world is turned upside down. Everything she believes true is lies. Everyone she trusted has proven to be unreliable. She knows she has done truly horrible things while in Santicor’s employ. Her only wish is to right the wrongs. She races against the clock to prevent events that threaten world peace. Enemies become friends. Friends become enemies. Her greatest obstacle is her own doubt. She can’t trust her own judgement. She doesn’t know who she is and what is true and what is false. Yet, she knows one thing-- this fight she must win.
